Building your unconventional life is about creating the life that is right for YOU. Building a life that’s built around your health, mental well-being, your desires, and your goals. It’s also about having the resilience to change plans to keep you living your most whole and happiest life.

Hey, I’m Casey!
I’m a TEDx speaker, writer, and teacher passionate about helping those amid life change shift from surviving to thriving.
As an Iraq war veteran and childless-not-by-choice woman, I have deep value and appreciation for making the most of each day and having to rebuild your entire life plan.
Through life experience and a master’s in mental health, I’ve created a unique approach to dealing with life’s twists and turns. Hard shit happens, but if we lean into the change, stunning things can also happen.
My Stance on Inclusion
I work to create an educated, inclusive practice that does not discriminate based on race, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, body size, ability, or class. I work to create a space where my clients can feel safe exploring and expressing their unique experiences.
As a straight, cis-gender, white, thin woman, I strive to stay aware of my numerous forms of privilege. I am in no way perfect in navigating these topics and attempt to clean up quickly and learn much when I mess up. I aim to do the next right thing, no matter how uncomfortable, and continually seek to learn how I can best advocate and support others.
What's the difference between coaching and therapy?
Solid question. Coaching is not therapy, though it is therapeutic. Primarily the difference (besides licensing) is in the approach and outlook. Coaching tends to focus on the present and future, while therapy often spends a good chunk of time healing the past.
Our focus is on shifting your current life situation to create a present and future that excite you. But we won’t shy away from or skip the past when needed.

How will I feel by the end?
